Walnuts in Fudge
These sweet fudge coated walnuts go great on top of a batch of cupcakes, and whole or crushed over a dessert.
Ingredients
- 50 g butter
- 100 g sugar
- 1tsp vanilla
- Walnuts (Whole or crushed, depending on what you are using the fudge for)

Method
- Cook 50g butter, 100g sugar and 1tsp vanilla in a saucepan until all sugar is dissolved
- Bring to the boil until it becomes a golden colour
- Add 1/2 cup of water and reduce down to a creamy consistency
- Add walnuts and make sure they are coated in the mixture
- Pour into a baking dish with baking paper on it.
- Make sure the walnuts are a distance apart so they can be broken apart cleanly
