Two Mince Meat Loaf

A good old favourite, serve with mashed potato, pumpkin and greens and a rich gravy

Ingredients

  • 500 gm minced steak
  • 500 gm sausage mince
  • 250 gm chopped bacon
  • 1/2 cup soft breadcrumbs
  • 1 onion diced
  • 1 egg
  • 1 dessertspoon parsley chopped
  • garlic salt
  • 2 tablespoon tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon worcestshire sauce
  • salt and pepper

Method

  • Combine meats, bacon, breadcrumbs, onion, parsley and garlic salt
  • Beat egg with sauces., stir into meat mixture with salt and pepper
  • Pour into well greased loaf tin
  • Cover with foil
  • Bake in moderate oven 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours
  • Remove foil and bake further 15 minutes
  • Drain and serve with vegetables and gravy
