Two Mince Meat Loaf
A good old favourite, serve with mashed potato, pumpkin and greens and a rich gravy
Ingredients
- 500 gm minced steak
- 500 gm sausage mince
- 250 gm chopped bacon
- 1/2 cup soft breadcrumbs
- 1 onion diced
- 1 egg
- 1 dessertspoon parsley chopped
- garlic salt
- 2 tablespoon tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon worcestshire sauce
- salt and pepper
Method
- Combine meats, bacon, breadcrumbs, onion, parsley and garlic salt
- Beat egg with sauces., stir into meat mixture with salt and pepper
- Pour into well greased loaf tin
- Cover with foil
- Bake in moderate oven 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours
- Remove foil and bake further 15 minutes
- Drain and serve with vegetables and gravy
