Syllabub Cream
This ancient English dairy dish can be eated simply layered in a tall glass with fruit or can be used to make a trifle, dress a pavlova or on top of a hot coffee perhaps?
INGREDIENTS
- 1 Pint cream
- 1 ½ pint cold Riesling
- Zest of 1 lemon
- ½ cup white sugar
- Pinch of nutmeg
METHOD
- Beat all together till thick
- In tall glass alternate layers of cream with your choice of fresh fruit. Strawberries are yum!
