Sweet and Sour Tuna

 A quick and easy dish to make for the busy Mum, you can add a tin of drained peas if you wish

Ingredients

  • 2 ozs butter
  • 4 Tablespoons Plain flour
  • 300 ml  milk
  • 500 gm  can pineapple pieces
  • 1 x 400 gm can corn kernels
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1 x 500 gm tin tuna

Method

  • Melt butter in saucepan, add flour, stir over low heat
  • Blend in milk then stir over low heat till thick
  • Add pineapple and juice, sweet corn and drained and flaked Tuna
  • Serve on a bed of rice
