Sweet and Sour Tuna
A quick and easy dish to make for the busy Mum, you can add a tin of drained peas if you wish
Ingredients
- 2 ozs butter
- 4 Tablespoons Plain flour
- 300 ml milk
- 500 gm can pineapple pieces
- 1 x 400 gm can corn kernels
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1 x 500 gm tin tuna
Method
- Melt butter in saucepan, add flour, stir over low heat
- Blend in milk then stir over low heat till thick
- Add pineapple and juice, sweet corn and drained and flaked Tuna
- Serve on a bed of rice
