Rhonda's Apple Slice

Another favourite handed down through the family

Ingredients

  • 1 packet of no name butter cake mix
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 4 ozs butter melted
  • 1 small can pie apples
  • 300 ml sour cream
  • 1 egg
  • cinnamon

Method

  • Mix cake mix with coconut
  • Add melted butter and beat well
  • Pour into greased and lined slab tin
  • Bake moderate oven 15 minutes then remove from oven
  • Spread pie apple over top
  • Mix sour cream and egg
  • pour over apples and sprinkle with cinnamon
  • Bake a further 15 to 20 minutes
