Pina Colada
A slight citrus twist on this popular favourite, served as a smoothie in this recipe and easily converted to a cocktail either with or without alcohol.
Ingredients
- 100 grams frozen pineapple
- 100 grams frozen honeydew melon
- 50ml coconut cream
- 100ml pineapple juice
- 20ml fresh lime juice
- 1 scoop plain vanilla soy icecream
- Optional nip of coconut rum or melon liqueur, for adults only!
Method
- Add all ingredients (except alcohol) to blender and blend for 3 minutes
- Pour into a tall or balloon glass and garnish with a wedge of honey dew melon and pineapple
- You can leave out the icecream and add this to the top at the end
- Drink straight away as ingredients separate
