Pina Colada

A slight citrus twist on this popular favourite, served as a smoothie in this recipe and easily converted to a cocktail either with or without alcohol.

Ingredients

  • 100 grams frozen pineapple
  • 100 grams frozen honeydew melon
  • 50ml coconut cream
  • 100ml pineapple juice
  • 20ml fresh lime juice
  • 1 scoop plain vanilla soy icecream
  • Optional nip of coconut rum or melon liqueur, for adults only!

Method

  • Add all ingredients (except alcohol) to blender and blend for 3 minutes
  • Pour into a tall or balloon glass and garnish with a wedge of honey dew melon and pineapple
  • You can leave out the icecream and add this to the top at the end
  • Drink straight away as ingredients separate
