Jam Drops
A lovely light biscuit, use any jam you like.
Ingredients
- 4 ozs butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cups S.R.flour
- 1 egg, beaten
- vanilla essence
- jam
Method
- Cream butter and sugar till light and fluffy
- Add egg, vanilla essence and four
- Small spoonfuls onto greased tray
- Put a small dollop of jam into the centre, not too much as it will run over the edge and burn
- Bake in moderate oven till golden 10 to 15 minutes
