Green Meanie
My naturopath has recommended that I drink juice with spirulina 3 times per day, because it has incredible energy giving properties and is packed with phytonutrients which help the body to heal and cells to regenerate.
Generally spirulina is purchased in powder form which means the nutrients are easy to absorb for those with under-performing digestion due to stress or bad diet. It is considered a 'complete' and 'live' food and is also rich in amino acids and anti-oxidents.
Ingredients
- 2 x teaspoons of spirulina powder
- 1 x frozen apple
- 1 x frozen pear

- 200ml apple juice
- 25ml lemon juice
