We can make this chocolate slice with our eyes close after several thousand batches served as a petit four with coffee in our family restaurant. It is a basic recipe and a great way to involve kids in the kitchen. You can take out some of the nuts and add cherries or ginger.
Ingredients
300 grams dark chocolate
50 grams white chocolate
¾ cup of sweetened condensed milk
½ cup toasted almonds
½ cup pecans, walnuts or cashews
½ cup pistachio
1 tablespoon brandy or whisky
Method
Line a bar pan with foil.
Sprinkle finely chopped white chocolate into prepared pan (we often skip this step as it doesn't always stick)
Combine dark chocolate, milk, nuts and brandy in bowl, mix well, spread evenly over white chocolate.
