Custard Creams (Yo-Yo's)

A delectable shortbread biscuit, can be joined together with icing, hence they look like Yo-Yo's

Ingredients

  • 375gm butter
  • 2/3 cup castor sugar
  • 375gm Plain Flour
  • 125gm Custard powder

Method

  • Cream butter and sugar till sugar dissolves
  • Add flour and Custard powder
  • Mix well
  • Roll into small balls
  • Place on greased trays and flatten slightly with a fork
  • Bake in moderate oven 20 minutes or till golden
  • Join together with Icing if desired
