Cornflake Crunchies

I always make these biscuits slightly larger than normal, they will spread so leave plenty of room on the tray

Ingredients

  • 125gm butter
  • 1/3 cup castor sugar
  • 1 cup S.R.flour
  • 1 egg lightly beaten
  • 1/3 cup sultanas
  • 2 cups cornflakes crushed

Method

  • Cream butter and sugar till light and fluffy
  • Add egg and mix well
  • Add flour then sultanas and cornflakes
  • Place spoonfuls on greased trays
  • Bake in moderate oven for 20 minutes or till golden
