Chewy Fruity Bars

A delicious slice for an after school snack

Ingredients

  • 125gm butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup coconut
  • 2/3 cup sultanas
  • 1 cup quick cook rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped apricots
  • 1/2 cup S.R. flour
  • 12 cup castor sugar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon golden syrup

Method

  • Grease a 23cm square slab tin
  • Mix all ingredients and combine well
  • Spread in tin and bake in moderate oven 20 minutes or till brown
  • Cool in tin and refrigerate before cutting
