Cheese Pikelets

These savoury pikelets can be eaten anytime, serve buttered. For non vegetarians serve them as a side with a hearty mince stew.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup S.R.flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2/3 cup grated tasty cheese

Method

  • Sif flour into bowl, add sugar
  • Stir in milk, egg and cheeses and mix well
  • Spoon tablespoons of mixture in to a heated and greased pan
  • Cook until bubbles appear, then turn over and cook other side
  • Place on plate with paper towel
  • Continue till all mixture is used
  • Serve with butter
