Butterscotch Tart
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 1 tablespoon custard powder
- ½ cup lightly packed brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- on 8 inch (20cm) cooked pieshell
METHOD
- Blend a little evaporated milk with the custard powder to make a smooth paste.
- Add remaining evaporated milk and other ingredients.
- Bring to the boil, stirring constantly over medium heat.
- Pour into cooked pie shell.
- Chill and serve with whipped cream.
