Butterscotch Biscuits

A delicious caramel like biscuit, full of crunch

Ingredients

  • 4 ozs butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • vanilla essence
  • 2 cups S.R.Flour
  • castor sugar for rolling

Method

  • Cream butter and sugar till soft and light, add egg and a few drops of vanilla essence
  • Mix in flour well
  • Small balls then lightly roll in sugar
  • Place on greased oven trays and lightly press with a fork
  • Moderate oven for 12 minutes or till light golden
