Brown Sugar Biscuits
A slight variation of a plain biscuit just by using brown sugar instead of white
Ingredients
- 4ozs butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg beaten
- dash vanilla essence
- 2 cups SR flour
- castor sugar for rolling
Method
- Cream butter till light and fluffy, add essence
- add egg and beat well
- add flour and mix
- roll into small balls and roll in sugar
- place on well greased tray and flatten slightly with a fork
- bake in moderate oven approx 12 minutes
- cool on racks
