Aussie BBQ Pizza
I use a gluten free wholegrain thin base which is perfectly crispy when cooked on a pizza stone, but you can use any home made or shop-bought pizza base for this recipe.
Ingredients
- 1 x small onion
- 4 rashes bacon, fat off (short cut) or left over ham
- 3 x free range eggs
- 10 x snow peas
- BBQ Sauce
- Grated cheese
- Pizza Base
Method
- Boil 3 eggs for about 6 minutes then put in some cold water to cool before peeling them carefully.
- Dice bacon, onion and snow peas and slice egg with a very sharp knife.
- Spread BBQ sauce over the base - just plain old fountain or spc bbq sauce, it can't be beaten!
- Layer eggs then bacon, onion, snow peas and cover with cheese (for dairy free use goats or soy cheese)
- Bake in a medium oven for 20 minutes or until cheese is golden on top
