All Purpose Biscuit Pastry

Here is an easy recipe for a pastry that calls for a sweet crust: ie biscuits or tart shells

Ingredients

  • 8 ozs butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup castor sugar
  • 12 ozs Plain flour
  • 8 ozs S.R. flour
  • pinch salt

Method

  • Cream butter and sugar till smooth
  • add eggs one at a time and beat well
  • add sifted flours, mix till well combined
  • knead lightly
  • use as required
